イビサの海と空は、芸術的に美しい。

一夏をこの島で過ごした。現地の友人が、「イビサの夕焼けは、絶対見ときなよ。」と言って、絶景ポイントを教えてくれた。

断崖の上に立つと、地中海が果てまで広がっている。夕暮れが近づくにつれ、空は澄んだ青に橙が滲み、さらに紫へと広がり、深い青へと変わる様は、まるでキャンバスに絵の具を落としたようだ。億年単位で続く地球が育んだ絶景の前では、自分の悩みなどどうでもよくなる。 滞在中に何度か足を運んだのが、パワースポットとして知られるエス・ヴェドラだ。 特別な力があるのかどうかはわからない。ただ、イビサを離れる最終日の前日に訪れた時に見た2色の海に、なにか大きなエネルギーを感じた。

人がつくるものの美しさを追いかけてきたが、自然はいつもその上をいく。

The sea and sky of Ibiza are breathtakingly beautiful.

I spent an entire summer on this island. A local friend told me, "You absolutely have to see the Ibiza sunset," and showed me the perfect spot.

Standing on the cliffs, the Mediterranean stretches out to the horizon. As dusk approached, the sky shifted from a clear blue tinged with orange, spreading into purple, then deepening into a dark blue — like drops of paint falling onto a canvas.

Standing before a landscape shaped by billions of years of earth's history, my own worries felt meaningless.

During my stay, I visited Es Vedrà several times, an island rock known as a place of spiritual power. Whether or not it holds any special force, I cannot say. But on the day before my last day in Ibiza, the two-toned sea I saw there carried something that felt like a vast energy.

I have spent my life chasing the beauty of things made by human hands. But nature always goes further.
